Cruise Ship Levy
Current legislation does not allow cruise ships to be charged a visitor levy. However, following a series of roundtable discussions, the Scottish Government has launched a consultation on a potential cruise ship levy in Scotland, specifically looking at the benefits and problems a cruise ship levy could bring, the potential impacts (both positive and negative), and practical questions about how any such levy could best work.
