Shetland Islands Council Climate Change Strategy 2023-2027  An overarching framework of SIC’s strategic plan to address climate change.

Shetland Islands Council Climate Change Action Plan  Details the measures, policies, and plans that will be put in place to achieve our Strategic Objectives.

Shetland Islands Council Climate Change Strategy Post-Adoption Statement  This is the Post-Adoption Statement for the Shetland Islands Council Climate Change Strategy 2023-2027, which was adopted by the Council on December 13 2023.  If you would like to obtain a free copy of the Strategy, its accompanying Environmental Report, and Post-Adoption Statement please go to the Shetland Islands Council, 8 North Ness, Lerwick, Shetland, ZE1 0LZ between the hours of 09:00 and 17:00.  You can also download a copy of the Strategy and its accompanying documements from the links listed above.

Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Strategy  EV strategy will set out a strategic plan for increasing Shetlands charge point infrastructure.

Local Heat and Energy Efficiency Strategy (LHEES)  LHEES will set out the long-term plan for decarbonising heat in buildings and improving their energy efficiency across an entire local authority area.

Shetland Climate Change Strategy – A Shetland Partnership overarching framework of Shetland’s strategic plan to address climate change.
