Parental Employability Support Fund

Are you a working or unemployed parent? 

The Parental Employability Support Fund provides support to parents on low incomes who are looking for a job or who are currently in work and looking to progress.

We will help you to:

  • identify and work towards an employment goal
  • learn new skills to enhance your employment prospects
  • understand how to maximise your income and your benefits
  • search for jobs and prepare for interviews
  • link with employers looking for your skills and experience
  • increase your income from employment

 Who we can help:

  • lone parents
  • families with 3 or more children
  • families where the youngest child is under 1 year
  • families with a disabled parent or child
  • families where the parents are under 25 years
  • families from minority ethnic communities.
