A Passenger who breaks their journey by 'stopping off' on any island will be deemed to have disembarked. This only applies in Unst and Fetlar and not Yell.

‘Stopping-off’ is defined as spending any period of time on an island that is not one of the islands/terminals specified upon your ticket as the departure point or destination. ‘Stopping-off’ excludes being requested by crew to go ashore in order to re-stow the vehicle deck in preparation for the next leg of the journey, or where (due to operational/booking restrictions) Ferry Services requires a passenger to disembark and complete their journey on another ferry.
