What assistance is available
The Scheme will offer grants of up to £10,000 for eligible rural businesses to invest in adaptations, improvements and new ways of working eg, energy efficiency, investment in green technology to reduce costs, new systems, etc.
Premises located in Lerwick are not be eligible for support.
Premises located in all other areas of Shetland will attract a grant of up to 75% of eligible costs.
As this is a new round of the scheme, for financial year 2025/26, previous applicants can apply.
Applicants may apply to the 2025/26 scheme more than once, but may not receive cumulative grant support greater than £10,000 in this round of funding. The minimum grant awarded will be £1,000.
