  • For access to free second hand clothing for children, and free items to help people through the winter (such as blankets, duvets, hot water bottles and thermos flasks).  Open Mondays & Thursdays 1 - 5.30pm from Monday 31st October or call  0800 0308780 to access.

THE HUB

Scalloway, Burra & Trondra

SCALLOWAYWesley Hall (Methodist)

  • open for 'winter activities' (eg. board games, conversation, knitters welcome) on Thursday afternoons from 2-5pm from 27th October.

LIVING WELL HUB - Scalloway Youth and Community Centre.

  • The "Living Well" Hub at the Scalloway Youth and Community Centre, is open on Wednesdays 1-5pm. After New Year it will be open 9-2pm. At the Living Well Hub we can offer a hot cuppa, a listening ear, advice and signposting about Community groups, Voluntary groups and support services- making direct referrals for services when needed. We can also issue emergency electric and heating fuel vouchers to anyone in fuel crisis. The Hubs are also a Social Space where you will always receive a warm welcome. SCALLOWAY YOUTH & COMMUNITY CENTRE

  • Scalloway Youth & Community Centre are offering activities for adults, through the winter on Tuesday mornings and Thursday evenings.  Some examples of activities include pool, snooker, darts, badminton and other sports, music, singing, with a warm cuppa and refreshments.

BRIDGE END KIRK, BURRA

  • Burra Weekly Cuppa & Chat. Wednesdays 10am-12noon. Bring your own craft or come for the cuppa and blether. All Welcome.
  • Welcome Stop a comfortable heated space with self-service tea and coffee, toilet facilities, free Wi-Fi, book swap. open daily--if the sign is out, it's open!

 

North Mainland

BRAE YOUTH AND COMMUNITY CENTRE

West Mainland

WALLS METHODIST CHURCH

  • Café in the Kirk. Fridays open from 10am to 3pm including the Cafe from 11-2. 

AITH AND BIXTER TODDLERS GROUP

  • The Aith and Bixter Toddlers Group will be running activities for families, such as Aa Fired Up, Sensory Music and Soft Play sessions, as well as a Christmas Party. These will run from 29th November to 31st March 2023. For more information contact eidandbixtertoddlers@hotmail.com

CULLIVOE HALL
