Scottish Water are undertaking repairs to a burst water main at the Gremista roundabout on the A970, to the north of Lerwick.
While repairs are taking place, traffic flow will be controlled with three-way traffic lights, which may cause significant delays at times.
Motorists should consider using the alternative route via the A970 South Road and the B9073 (‘Black Gaet’) road, especially at peak times.
