Due to a breakdown, MV Leirna is currently out of service on the Lerwick to Bressay ferry crossing.
Current weather conditions mean that it is not possible to provide another vessel to provide cover on this route, and so there is no ferry service on this route for the time being.
As soon as weather conditions improve, a replacement vessel will be brought in. Council engineers are currently working on the fault.
Shetland Islands Council would like to apologise for any inconvenience to passengers.
