Due to wintry conditions across Shetland today, the following public bus services are currently suspended and will be reviewed again at 1300 hrs today.

Service 4 (Lk- Scalloway) is operating to the published timetable, using a minibus with reduced capacity and less space for social distancing.
Service 24V (Overland) is operating to Saturday timetable.
Ferry services are also affected by strong winds and sea conditions. Passengers intending to travel should check the Ferry Voicebanks for the latest information.
Council gritters have been out on the roads today, treating roads and clearing snow where necessary. The wintry conditions are forecast to continue overnight into tomorrow, with snow, ice and strong winds expected to cause some snow drifts on the roads. The Met Office has extended the Yellow Weather Warning into tomorrow morning. If drivers need to venture out on the roads, they should drive with caution.
