Manufacturer delays in receiving parts for the MV Geira docking have resulted in an impact on the Docking Schedule.
Ferry services on Bluemull Sound to Yell, Unst and Fetlar will continue to operate a Saturday timetable. It is hoped to return to the normal Winter Timetable on Tuesday 15th February 2022.
On the Whalsay route, MV Linga is due to go to drydock on Saturday 5th February 2022 and during this time she would be normally be covered by MV Hendra.
With the dry dock delays above, MV Hendra will not complete her drydock until Monday 14th February 2022. From 5th to 14th February, MV Fivla will cover MV Linga runs; and MV Geira will cover MV Hendra runs.
