Police Scotland have advised that a truck has left the single track road on the B9074 (Tingwall valley) near Asta golf course.
*** UPDATE: The B9074 road has reopened to through traffic at approximately 4.40pm, Wed 15th June ***
The road will be closed from the north and south junctions at Veensgarth and Scalloway respectively, until the vehicle can be recovered, which may take some time. Council Roads staff are currently putting signs in place. An alternative route exists, using the A970 via the Brig of Fitch junction.
