After weather disruptions of the last week, black bags from households in the West Mainland will be collected tomorrow – Tuesday 20th December.
Properties in the Eshaness area, and on the side roads in Girlsta, Scalloway and Whiteness, will have household waste collections tomorrow also.
Tomorrow’s north collection of paper, card and cardboard is postponed until Wednesday 21st. The westside collection of paper is also cancelled tomorrow and will be collected on Thursday 22nd.
An extra vehicle will also assist with collections of defrosted foods for disposal this week.
Householders are asked to present bins for collection from 7.30am.
