The B9071 between Laxo and Vidlin will be closed during the day tomorrow (Friday 17th) to remove fuel and recover the tanker that has come off the road near the Skelberry junction.

The tanker on the B9071 road between Laxo and Vidlin has been recovered and the road is now fully OPEN to all through traffic.

The road will be closed to all traffic between Laxo and Vidlin tomorrow between 9am and 2pm, and 3.30pm to 5pm. Traffic will be able to pass along this road between 2pm and 3.30pm.
The removal of fuel is necessary to make the vehicle safe prior to it being lifted back onto the road.
