Shetland Islands Council’s Adult Learning Team will be hosting a series of events this week, ahead of National Numeracy Day tomorrow, Wednesday 17th May. 

National Numeracy Day aims to start a conversation about numeracy and support anyone who struggles with numbers to build their confidence.  Adult learning are running free, fun numeracy events throughout the week.  Drop in events took place yesterday in Brae and Mossbank, with more events planned throughout the week: 

Tuesday 16th May
10am-1.30pm – Islesburgh Community Centre pop-up

Wednesday 17th May
9.30am-12.30pm – Toll Clock Shopping Centre pop-up
1pm-3pm – Lerwick Library drop-in

Thursday 18th May
9am-1pm – Market House Agency pop-up
1pm-2pm  - Lerwick Library drop-in

Friday 19th May
10am-12 noon – The Hub 66/68 North Road pop-up
