After overnight snowfall across Shetland and the forecast of more snow today, all schools and all ELC settings will be CLOSED to pupils again today.

Due to continued snowfall and difficult road conditions this afternoon, all public bus services are now CANCELLED. There will be no public bus services running for the rest of the day. Services will be reviewed again from early tomorrow morning (Wednesday)

- All public bus services are currently suspended. The Town Service (Service 1), Lerwick-Scalloway (Service 4) and Lerwick-Hillswick/Toft/Mossbank (Services 21 & 23) will be reviewed at 1200hrs. All other services will be reviewed at 1300hrs at the earliest.
- All School and Community Games Halls are closed for bookings tonight and Islesburgh Community Centre including the Central Café will be closing early at 2.30pm this afternoon.
- After review, Fair Isle and Foula Primary Schools will stay closed to pupils. ALL Schools in Shetland are therefore closed today.

All schools will be closed except Fair Isle and Foula Primary Schools, which are under review.
Council-run youth clubs, the Youth and Employability Service, the Additional Support Base, and Eric Gray @ Seafield will all also be closed today.
With road conditions are hazardous in many areas, bus operators have suspended services and most services will be reviewed from 0900hrs. Anyone planning to travel this morning is advised to check the public bus voicebank on 01595 745744.
Temperatures across Shetland will continue below freezing for the next couple of days, with further snow showers expected. The Met Office has a current Yellow Warning of Snow and Ice for Shetland in place until Thursday.
