Shetland Islands Council’s Ferries Service is advising that on Thursday 18th and Friday 19th July, Yell Sound will be operating with a single vessel.
This is due to long term sickness, and no available certificated cover.
The following timetable will be in operation:
- Ulsta to Toft 0615 – normal timetable, bookings available
- Toft to Ulsta 0640 – normal timetable, bookings available
- Ulsta to Toft 0705 – normal timetable, bookings available
Please note if you are already booked on these sailings then bookings are still valid.
By request of the community, from 0730-1730 there will be a shuttle service with all bookings suspended. To allow for mandatory breaks there will be no service for 30 minutes at approximately 1000, and 45 minutes at approximately 1315.
