We have now received an updated programme from the contractor undertaking drydock works on the ferry Geira. This work is not now likely to be completed before early April.
Allowing for necessary MCA inspections and sea trials, our current estimate for the vessel to return to service is now Monday 20th April.
Every effort will be made to bring the vessel back into service sooner, but in the meantime, the following arrangements will be implemented:
Whalsay
Fri 13th March to Tues 31st March
Continued single vessel operating to the Linga timetable with additional runs on Mondays and Wednesdays until Hendra returns from docking.
Bluemull
Sat 4th April to Sun 19th April
Single vessel operating to the single vessel timetable whilst Fivla covers Filla docking. The timetable can be found at the following link

Previous bookings during these periods are no longer valid and will need to be rebooked online or by calling the booking office on 01595 745804. The booking system is currently being updated, and we expect bookings to be available for Whalsay from Fri 6th March, and Bluemull from Mon 9th March.
