Crown Estate Fund – Grant Aid Scheme

Shetland Islands Council has today announced the opening of a Grant Aid Scheme financed from net revenues generated by Crown Estate assets in Scotland.

This pilot scheme is designed to mobilise change and deliver positive outcomes for Shetland and its communities, by supporting projects which invest in infrastructure, build community capacity and develop community assets.

The scheme is open to charities, community organisations, social enterprises and other community or public bodies to apply to, and can provide grants of between £10,000 and £100,000 to projects which deliver on the priorities of the Shetland Partnership Plan.

The scheme will have a two-stage application process, and details, including guidelines and the stage one application (Expression of Interest form), can be found here: www.shetland.gov.uk/economic_development/Crown-Estate-fund.asp

The first closing date for stage one applications is Monday 7th September 2020.

For any queries on the Scheme please contact Michael Duncan on 01595 743828 or Sally Spence on 01595 744915, or e-mail crown.estate@shetland.gov.uk
