Operational Note – Roads reinstatement, A970
Following recent inspections, Shetland Islands Council has issued notices of “defective reinstatements” on sections of the A970 road, following works by SSEN to install cabling beneath the road.

WW2 Town Hall projections cancelled tonight
Due to low cloud and misty conditions across Shetland today, the planned projections of the Second World War Roll of Honour images on Lerwick Town Hall won’t take place tonight.

Operational Note – A968 ‘Dales Lees’ road
The A968 ‘Dales Lees’ Road is expected to reopen on Monday 10th November, following completion of the roadworks as part of SSEN’s North Mainland Reinforcement Project.

Town Hall projections to mark WW2 80th Anniversary
Ahead of Remembrance Sunday this weekend, Shetlanders lost in the Second World War will be commemorated in a projection of images onto Lerwick Town Hall.
