Operational note - Removal of floral arrangements at local burial grounds
Local families are being reminded to arrange for the removal of memorial tributes, and any wreaths and flowers which aren’t in a suitable receptacle, before the end of January.

Free bus travel for under 22s
Young people and children aged 5 to 21 years can now access free bus travel, by applying for a National Entitlement Card (NEC).

Children’s Services strengthens COVID-19 mitigations as end of term approaches
Shetland Islands Council is strengthening the mitigations currently in place in school and early learning settings, reintroducing measures which had been recently relaxed, before the end of this term.
