Best Value Assurance Report
Shetland Islands Council having received a copy of the Best Value Assurance Report from the Controller of Audit has made a copy available for public inspection. This can be viewed on this page or at reception of 8 North Ness or the Town Hall and at the local Library during office hours.
The Accounts Commission has also received a copy of the report and considered it at their meeting on 11 August 2022. The findings of the Account Commission have been published on their website and can be viewed alongside the report from the Council offices mentioned above.
The Council is required to formally consider the findings and recommendations at a meeting of the Council, which will be held on or about 23 November 2022. Formal notification shall be published in advance of that meeting.
