Copister, Yell

Patching works are scheduled to start on Wednesday 9th of June and are expected to take 3 days to complete. Works are weather dependant. Short delays are to be expected. Any queries regarding these works please contact John Duncan (744105).

Church Road, Lerwick

Works resumed again on the 3rd May for the completion of the reconstruction of the parking area and associated footpaths. Works are now expected to be completed by Friday 11th June. A 3-week curing period will follow to allow time for bedding material to slabs set properly. Additional works are to follow with the construction of a footpath on the West side of the carriageway. Works are expected to take 8 weeks to complete. Traffic lights will be in operation throughout the working day. Any queries regarding these works please contact Grant Anderson (744171)

Current Road Closures

A970 and A968 Tagon (Isles Road) Junction, Voe

The A970 between Tagon junction and the War Memorial will be managed by traffic lights from Thursday 3rd to Friday 18th June 2021. The hours of operation will be from 9am to 3pm, Monday to Friday, although the lights may occasionally be in place overnight for safety reasons. Drivers are warned to expect delays as a result.
