Road Closures and Weekly Road Works Report

General defects such as resetting of loose slabs and kerbs, clearing of footpaths, cold tar patching, etc. are being undertaken in various areas throughout Lerwick, Scalloway and surrounding areas. Mobile works..

Our Surface Dressing programme resumed on Monday 17th August. Works are complete in the South Mainland, Lerwick, Bressay, Central and West Mainland. Works to undertake micro surfacing of defective footpaths around Lerwick are underway. Currently working in the South Lochside area. Footpaths will be closed throughout duration of works but alternative routes are available.
