General cold tar patching works throughout north isles are started on Wednesday 1st July with works expected to be complete on Wednesday 15th July. Short delays can be expected. Any queries regarding these works please contact John Duncan (744105) East

Works to remove cats eyes in prep for surface dressing will resume on 13th July due to lack of resources. Traffic lights will be in operation throughout the working day. Any queries regarding these works please contact Grant Anderson (744171)

Works to install approx. 100m of ducts between manholes on either side of the bridge started on Monday 6th July. The closure is scheduled for 5 days but it is hoped the traffic sensitive work will be complete by close of play on 8th July. The closure will be in affect between 9am and 3.30pm to allow works to be completed. Emergency access will be maintained if required. General hot tar pathing is currently being undertaken around Scalloway and the South Mainland using a hot box. Mobile works.

Cold tar patching is underway at various locations. Works will primarily be undertaken in Central Mainland. Mobile works. Any queries regarding these works please contact Grant Anderson (744171)

Our Surface Dressing programme is now underway. Works are complete in the South Mainland, Lerwick, Bressay, Central and West Mainland. Works will be suspended due to mechanical breakdown at the emulsion plant. The project will resume in the North Mainland and finish in the North Isles once the plant is running again.
