Winter Payments
Two Winter Payments to all families with an approved Clothing Grant / Free School Meals applicaiton for the 2025/26 academic year have been approved by Shetland Islands Council as part of the Island Cost Crisis Funding for 2025/26.
The first payment of £120 per child was paid to into bank accounts on Friday 12th December 2025.
The second payment (amount to be confirmed) will be paid into bank accounts on Friday 27th March 2026.
If you have an existing Clothing Grant / Free School Meal award you will automatically receive these payments into your bank account. There is no need to submit a new application in order to receive the payment.
