What is Sheltered Housing?
Sheltered Housing is best described as small, easy to manage properties grouped together and which usually have low or level access. Sheltered tenants can access the Housing Support service from a Community Housing Support Worker.
How do I apply?
To apply for Sheltered Housing, you need to complete a full Housing Application form and select the Sheltered Housing option. You will then be contacted by your allocated Housing Officer who will assess your eligibility and any housing support requirements.
Any services currently providing you with support may be contacted to provide further information to support the assessment.
When a property becomes available for allocation, applicants will be considered in line with the Housing Allocation policy.
