Notification
Vessels or Contractors welding, cutting, grinding and burning on board or on the quayside are required to notify the Harbour Master before the commencement of works.
Notice shall be given by the completion of the Hot Work Notification Form.

Approval
Approval may be granted upon receiving a full and correct Hot Work Notification Form.
Upon approval, the signed permit should be returned to the vessel or contractor for their records.
Approval may be denied if there is any concern over the safety of the works, work site or for the safety of any harbour user.
