Household skip hire
The Council's skip hire service is also available for householders.
We have three sizes of skips available to hire:
- 8 cubic yards (approximately 60 to 80 bags)
- 12 cubic yards (approximately 100 to 120 bags)
- 16 cubic yards (approximately 140 to 160 bags)
The hire cost of the skip includes:
- daily hire rate at £1.65 per day
- delivery and collection charge at 50.000 per hour
- disposal cost (varies depending on type of rubbish, check the disposal charges page)
- please note, households will be charged VAT
