Opening times
The Gremista Waste Management Facility is open seven days.
Winter Opening Times (October 1 to March 31)
Monday to Friday: 8am to 5.45pm
Saturday and Sunday: 10am to 3.45pm
The site will close 15 minutes after the times listed but no vehicle entering the site in this time will be allowed to dump rubbish.
The site is closed on:
- New Years Day
- January 2
- Wednesday after Lerwick Up Helly Aa
- Christmas Day
- Boxing Day
Opening times between Christmas and New Year may also be reduced, any changes will be advertised.
