Pre-Planning Application - Consultation No2.

Between 5 December 2022 and 15 January 2023 Shetland Islands Council are conducting the second Pre-Planning Application consultation on the planned infrastructure works which form part of the Fair Isle Ferry Replacement project.
Information on the process, as well as the wider project, will be available for public view at:
Fair Isle School Hall on Monday 6th February 2023 from 10am to 2pm; or
Online on Monday 6th February 2023 from 6.30pm to 7.30pm; or
Sumburgh Hotel on Tuesday 7th February from 2pm to 6.30pm.
Anyone attending will be able to make comments on the proposals at either event.
Representatives from the project team will be at both sessions, with representatives from Mott Macdonald, developing shore infrastructure outline designs and Stantec, advising on the environmental and consenting activities, along with members of Shetland Islands Council’s project team.
A new project section on the Council’s website is available at www.shetland.gov.uk/fair-isle-ferry-replacement with more information, including an online form where comments can also be made on the proposals.
The consultation is open until 20th February 2023.
