What assistance is available
The Scottish Government made an allocation of £238,704.11 to support projects in Shetland for 2026/27 - £49,760.37 Capital Projects and £188,943.74 Revenue Projects.
The programme has a tight timescale so consideration must be given to this when planning your project.
It is anticipated that there will be two rounds of applications for this programme, depending on funds remaining following the first round.
Applications will close on 31 July 2026 for the first round and 28 August 2026 for the second round of funding.
Following the first application closure date, you can expect to hear the outcome of your application by 26 August 2026, following the LAG meeting on 25 August 2026.
Following the second application closure date, you can expect to hear the outcome of your application by 30 September 2026, following the LAG meeting on 29 September 2026.
You will receive an automatic acknowledgement of your application when you submit it on the system. If you do not receive this, please inform the Co-ordinator.
ALL PROJECTS MUST BE COMPLETED AND CLAIMED BY 26 FEBRUARY 2027.
