Tingwall Airport runway resurfacing to start next month
Work will soon get underway to resurface the runway and apron at Tingwall Airport, which is expected to take around four weeks.

Operational note - Changes to Scalloway bus services due to resurfacing works
Resurfacing works in Scalloway will close the road from the public hall to the Chapel Lane spur to Houl Road from Tuesday 22nd to Sunday 27th.

Veensgarth Roundabout reopens
Work to resurface the Veensgarth roundabout has now been completed, and the road has reopened.

Operational note – Repair work complete at Viking Bus Station
Due to the early completion of the drain repair works at the Viking Bus Station, all public bus services will return to their normal routes from 5pm this evening (Wed 16th).

‘Liberation Convoy’ plans unveiled for VE Day 80th Anniversary
Plans are unveiled for events marking the 80th anniversary of the end of WW2, including the visit by the ‘Liberation Convoy’ - a flotilla of five historic vessels crossing the North Sea from Norway.
