Harbour users should notify the Harbour Authority prior to any recreational event they plan to hold that may impact on, disrupt shipping or port operations within an SIC harbour area or its approaches.
Notification
Notification shall be provided to the Duty Harbour Master with a minimum of 7 days notice prior to the event commencing in order for works to be considered and a Notice to Mariners to be published on the SIC Ports website & in local press.
Notification shall be given using the Recreational Event Notification Form.

Notification will allow the Harbour Authority to issue a Notice to Mariners to inform other harbour users. This will ensure the safety of event particiapants and all other harbour users.
