Early Entry into Primary 1
If your child was born between 1 March 2021 and 28 February 2022, they are eligible to start primary 1 in August 2026. In some cases, you may wish your child to start primary 1 early. Applications may be considered if appropriate to the needs of the child. If you are considering this, you should speak to staff in your child's early learning and childcare setting, or relevant school in the first instance.
