Support for Learning Review

Shetland Islands Council’s Children’s Services is conducting a Support for Learning Review to look at how children and young people across Shetland receive support for their learning, and how we can make this support more effective.

We are keen to hear from parents and carers of children and young people with any experience of support for learning, whether this support is occasional, targeted, or ongoing.

You can participate in the review whichever way suits you best:

  • Complete our online or paper survey (paper copies can be posted on request): Support for Learning Review Survey Link
  • Come along to an informal drop‑in session (details on next page).
  • Request an individual meeting if you would prefer more time to discuss your experiences.
  • Take part in an anonymous case study where you can share your child or young person’s support journey and help us better understand your experiences.

Please contact us if you would like to arrange any of the above or if you have any other query about the Support for Learning Review.

If you require any content in an alternative accessible format, please let us know and we will be happy to help.
