Commercial Disposal at the Gremista Waste Management Facility
If you opt to take your commerical waste directly to the Gremista Waste Management Facility you must go onto the weighbridge and report to the office.
Businesses are prohibited from using the household skips, they must go over the weighbridge.
All customers must complete a Waste Transfer Note before disposing of their waste.
The Facility can accept:
- recyclable materials (must be kept separate from all other waste, if not a contamination charge will be applied)
- waste for landfill (charges will also include Landfill Tax, set by Scottish Government)
- waste for processing in the sorting shed
To save on your disposal costs, ensure materials are sorted on site to go to the most appropiate means of disposal or processing.
