Charges

Waste collection and disposal are not included in business rates, so all businesses must pay for these services.

Our charging system for wheeled bins has changed, with the annual hire charge being included within the uplift cost per bin.

Business Wheeled Bins - cost per uplift

As of April 1 2020, there will no longer be a separate Annual Standing Charge for commercial wheeled bins. This cost has been included in the Cost Per Uplift.

Charity Wheeled Bins

Charities will only pay an Annual Standing Charge for the hire of wheeled bins, they are exempt from the new Cost Per Uplift.

Contamination Charge

As of April 1 2020, should any Commercial Recycling wheeled bin be deemed to be contaminated to a Moderate or Severe level businesses will be charged the following to cover handling, processing and administrative costs.
