The public consultation period will run from March 10th to April 10th 2025

Conservation proposals for Lerwick and Scalloway

The appraisals and further information can be viewed on the Shetland Islands Council Website at:  www.shetland.gov.uk/planning-building/conservation-area-reviews

There will be public drop-in sessions with details of proposals at:

  • Islesburgh Community Centre, Lerwick on Monday 24th March from 2pm to 7pm
  • and at Scalloway Youth Centre on Monday 31st March from 2pm to 7pm.

Anyone who wishes to view and comment on the proposals is welcome to attend.  Proposals, taking account of comments expressed, will later be presented in a report to Councillors. 

Comments must be received by 5pm on April 10th 202
