Joining and using the library

Health and Wellbeing

The Library works with partners to provide services that enhance health and wellbeing.

Help Yourself to Health

Our staff are trained in Health Literacy and can help you find books or online information about mental or physical health.

We also run events and promotions around health and wellbeing, often linking with NHS Shetland Health Improvement or SIC Sport and Leisure.

We also work with partners such as Alzheimers Scotland to run events or promotions that support dementia.
